Joey is a master level social worker that graduated from Wichita State University. He holds a bachelor degree in the science of psychology from Fort Hays University, and a second bachelor degree in business administration for Baker University. He became focused on pursuing his career in therapy with a focus on treating trauma. He holds a certification as a trauma professional from Evergreen (CTP) and a Clinical Hypnotherapist certification from the Wellness Institute. He has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
